Welcome to

Jokbal is a popular South Korean dish consisting of boneless seasoned and steamed pig’s legs.
The meat is usually seasoned with a combination of soy sauce, ginger, and black taffy, giving the dish a unique flavor.
Jokbal is traditionally served with side dishes such as kimchi, buchu, and shredded radish,
while the condiment of choice is usually ssamjang, which is a combination of fermented bean paste and pepper.

I come here specifically for the Jokbal and Bossam, my absolute favorites and my ultimate comfort foods! I make it a point to order them at least once a month because they are always amazing. The flavors are incredible, the quality is outstanding, and every bite is full of deliciousness. I’m Mexican, and I absolutely love Korean cuisine for many years! This place has truly won my heart. The food is consistently fresh, authentic, and prepared with so much care. The flavors, textures, and attention to detail are what keep me coming back again and again. I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is wonderful, the atmosphere, WOW LOVE IT, is welcoming, and every visit feels special. If you love Korean food, especially Jokbal and Bossam, this place is a must try. It has become one of my favorite spots, and I always look forward to my next visit!Posted on Google![]()

I’ve eaten here many times, and it has gradually become one of my regular go-to restaurants. The bossam is consistently excellent. The pork is cooked and sliced very well, with a clean, deeply savory pork flavor that reminds me of the pork I ate growing up in the countryside. The natural flavor of the meat simply comes through clearly, rather than being covered up by seasoning. The gamjatang is also nearly perfect for my taste. The broth is rich and flavorful, and I especially love the distinct aroma of the perilla leaves. The cabbage is cooked softer than I personally prefer, but that is purely a matter of texture preference rather than a problem with the dish. The restaurant is small, the service is straightforward, and both the portions and prices are reasonable. Most importantly, the food has remained very consistent across many visits. At this point, I think of it less as a restaurant I occasionally visit and more as one of my neighborhood canteens.Posted on Google![]()

Jang Choong Dong specializes in jokbal and bossam. A side of sundae goes perfect with those. Jokbal and sundae makes a delicious and somewhat healthy lunch. A few people walked in, looked at the menu, and walked out. I don't know what they wanted but they're missing out. This isn't the place for bulgogi and bim bim bap. It's a lot more. Give them a try. You'll be coming back for more.
